i have long been a fan of eieio's modern gift wrap designs and the lovely, whimsical aesthetic of hello! lucky's line of greeting cards and custom wedding invitations. to my delight, i read on hello! lucky's blog that they have teamed up with eieio to create a new line of custom wedding invitations! here is a sneak peek...they will be available on the hello! lucky website in about two weeks!

it was love at first sight when i stumbled upon amy atlas' website...she is an event planner who specializes in dessert/sweets tables, which just so happens to be my most favorite topic! here are some of my fave images of her work...so inspiring!!

shortly after our wedding i happened upon blurb, a website that allows you to create your own books...i ended up making photo books for each of our parents as a gift for christmas. they turned out beautifully and the price was reasonable...only about $40 for a 60-page book! i think it is a great alternative to purchasing a parents album from your photographer....
real wedding: mary-kevin & patrick
this is the real wedding of (you guessed it) me and my husband, patrick. patrick and i married on july 19, 2008 in la jolla, california. our ceremony took place by the ocean at calumet park and the reception was held at the nearby darlington house, which is a beautiful historic mansion with a lovely courtyard and rose garden. we had just 54 guests, so our hope was to create a super-intimate evening that was really special for those closest to us. the rose garden served as our main source of inspiration for the eclectic, chic garden party we were envisioning...
